    P-51 ride

Posted by Todd Schneider on 28th May 2023

It's hard to know where to start, as this day was the culmination of a variety of things that i never really thought would be a reality. First was meeting RB-51 pilot Steve Hinton, then getting flown around in a P-51 by his brother John. And the museum! So many rare aircraft that i only could marvel at in mind mind over the last 50+ years. I am so glad that these fine folks Liz, Jerry, the Hintons and the rest of the crew that patiently listened to my constant excited blabber could put up with me! And the P-51 itself was pretty much as amazing as i have imagined for the last 60-some years, but was even more personable, like a ride in a sports car. Thank you for the opportunity.

    UNBELIEVABLE EXPERIENCE!!

I took this ride in March 2023. Needless to say how exciting the prospect of actually riding a P51was!! The real experience was above my expectations, total thrill, the pilot Chris even performed some maneuvers that made it even better! Everyone there was so kind, so respectful about what they do and do such a great job to preserve all those beauties that I strongly reccomend the whole experience to everyone!!
