Tuskegee Airmen Key Chain
The Tuskegee Airmen overcame segregation and prejudice to become one of the most hightly respected fighter groups of World War II. Their achievements, together with the men and women who supported them, paved the way got full integration of the U.S. Military. While some were pilots, others served as technicians, radio operators, medical personnel, quartermasters, parachute riggers, mechanics, bombardiers, navigators, meterologists, control tower operators, dispatchers, and cooks. The pilots were educated at Tuskegee University (formally Tuskegee Institute) and trained at Moton and Tuskegee Army Air Fields, Alabama. Tuskegee Airmen were nicknamed "Red Tails" and "Red Tail Agents", and their motto was "Spit Fire!"
